Ten PROCOR personnel recognized on World Environment Day celebration

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet — The Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO COR) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Cordillera (DENR-CAR) honored ten exceptional PRO COR personnel with PNP Medals.

These commendations were bestowed in recognition of their remarkable achievements, presented during a modest ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet, on June 5, 2023, coinciding with this year’s World Environment Day celebration.

The notable event unfolded amidst the customary Monday Flag Raising Ceremony presided over by PRO COR regional director David K. Peredo Jr.

The ceremony was attended by deputy regional director for Administration (DRDA) Patrick Joseph G. Allan; deputy regional director for Operations (DRDO) Ronald V. Gayo; chief regional staff (CRS) Julio S. Lizardo; Regional Staff; Chiefs of the Regional Support Units; DENR-CAR regional executive director Ralph C. Pablo; and other PROCOR & DENR-CAR personnel.

Engr. Pablo and PBGEN Peredo Jr. led the awarding of PNP Medals to the following deserving PRO COR personnel:

  • Pat Marcial D. Laguiwa (Ifugao PPO)

Medalya ng Kagalingan

  • PCPT Charlie B. Allan (Kalinga PPO)
  • PSMS Eddie A. Maliwang (Kalinga PPO)

Medalya ng Papuri

  • PEMS Gandi T. Marcelo (Benguet PPO)
  • PSSg Wilmark B. Pilo (Benguet PPO)

Engr. Henry M. Mayangao and Ms. Maria Gina M. Lopez of DENR-CAR were also presented with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their significant contributions.

Furthermore, the PRO COR Regional Intelligence Division was recognized for its outstanding cleanliness and awarded as the cleanest office.
